With so many cleaning products to choose from today, many people look in for more type of cleaners but to say if you want to use the best possible cleaning solution than it may be in your household and that is nontoxic eco-friendly and cleans down most of the area. Well, I am talking about to clean your whole house with vinegar.

Vinegar is a natural disinfectant, its cheap, its versatile, and of course it can be said it’s a safe eco-friendly multipurpose cleaner. Below are some tips to clean your whole house with vinegar.

1. Multi-Purpose Cleaner

Vinegar is a great multi-purpose cleaner. You can simply mix 50% water and 50% vinegar in a spray bottle. Use it in the kitchen and the bathroom and it is mostly safe to use on stainless steel and other metals. You can also use the mixture on glass, so it is very reliable and great for cleaning stove-tops, windows, and mirrors. Going even further it can act as a disinfectant to clean the handles, doorknobs and light switches.

2. Appliance Cleaner

Microwave: Put a cup of 50% water and 50% vinegar in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Wipe it just and clean.

Refrigerator: Wiping down the entire fridge inside and out with the multi-purpose cleaner. You can store a little spray bottle in the fridge for quick clean-ups.

Dishwasher: Put pure vinegar in the rack of the dishwasher and run with a hot water cycle. This will clean and sanitize the dishwasher.

Garbage Disposal: Pour and put about 1/2 cup of vinegar down the garbage and trash can disposal and 1/2 cup lemon juice and a few slices of lemon. Turn your trash and garbage disposal on and let it grind up the lemon and work through the mixture and rinse with water.

3. Floor Cleaner

Mix 1/2 cup vinegar into the water and add lemon if you want the scent. Clean, Mop and sanitize the hardwood floors, including vinyl and tile.

 For carpets: Shampoo the carpets and then rinse carpets with 1/2 cup vinegar mixed with water. This works very well in removing excess soap from the carpet.  In fact, making the carpet fiber stronger for a longer time overall.

4. Bathroom Cleaner

Sinks and drains: In the first place, use the vinegar multi-purpose cleaner to wipe down sinks, faucets, and handles. To remove the scum and unclog the drains, clean the drain first and sprinkle a little baking soda with 1/2 cup vinegar. Let the mixture stay on the drain for some time if possible. Wipe it down and rinse it with water.

Showers and Bathtubs: Make a paste with 1/4 cup of baking soda and enough vinegar to make it easily spreadable. Use a brush to scrub down the tile and floors and rinse with water.

Shower Heads: Put 1 cup of vinegar into a plastic bag and put the bag over your shower head so it is completely merged in the vinegar and leave it overnight. In the morning, just remove the bag and rinse it with water. You can also use the same cleaning solution on the sink faucets.

Toilets: Pour 1 cup vinegar into the toilet and let it sit for a moment while you do and complete other cleaning tasks. After some time sprinkle some baking soda around the edge of the toilet bowl and scrub it with a toilet brush and flush it away. Use the vinegar all-multipurpose cleaner to wipe and clean down the rest of the toilet.

5. Mattress Cleaner

Not to mention, you can use vinegar to freshen your mattress. Just mix 1 cup vinegar with a few drops of tea tree oil in a spray bottle and spray onto your mattress. If you want to get it even cleaner, sprinkle the entire mattress with baking soda, let it dry and vacuum it up.

6. Laundry

Not only but also, you can use vinegar as a fabric softener. In fact, Just put and add 1 cup of pure vinegar to the final wash or rinsing cycle of the laundry and it will help remove detergent static, making the clothes brighter, shinier and stronger after all.
